Common questions answered

Infotel Finance supports active SMEs across India. Primarily manufacturers, modern trade businesses, B2B service companies, and supply chain participants. We focus on businesses with active operating cashflows and identifiable working capital needs. We are not a consumer lending platform and do not serve individuals or early-stage startups without commercial history.

We offer three primary products: Working Capital Loans. Flexible, short to medium tenure loans for operational funding needs; Supply Chain Finance. Which includes Purchase Invoice Discounting (funding against purchase invoices) and Sales Invoice Discounting (funding against raised sales invoices); and Structured Finance. Customised funding solutions for businesses with complex operating cycles or specific transaction flows that do not fit a standard product. Each product is structured around the specific cashflow cycle of the borrower.

Our underwriting is primarily cashflow-led. We assess the strength, consistency, and visibility of your business cashflows rather than relying solely on fixed asset collateral. Specific security requirements depend on the borrower profile, loan structure, and applicable underwriting criteria. We do not position collateral as the primary basis of our credit decisions.

We focus on short to medium-tenure structures, typically aligned to the underlying operating cycle of the borrower. Tenures vary depending on the product type, funding purpose, and repayment visibility. Short-tenure structures are preferred because they allow tighter monitoring and stronger alignment between capital deployment and repayment timelines.

Yes. We are not a substitute for banking relationships. We operate as a complementary capital provider for businesses that need incremental or structured support beyond what their existing bank facilities offer. Many of our borrowers maintain active banking relationships and use Infotel Finance for specific working capital requirements that are better served through an NBFC structure.

Supply chain finance is a form of transaction-linked funding that provides liquidity against actual business invoices. Either purchase invoices (helping you pay suppliers) or sales invoices (helping you unlock capital from receivables before your customers pay). It improves cashflow efficiency by reducing the time between when capital is needed and when payment is received, without requiring fixed asset collateral.

Programme partnerships are structured arrangements where a partner organisation. With deep knowledge of a specific business segment. Works with Infotel Finance to identify and originate quality lending opportunities. The partner brings market access and borrower context; Infotel Finance provides the capital and maintains independent control over all credit assessment, underwriting, and approval decisions.
